Financial Controller
Location: London / Hybrid (3 days office-based, London/Brighton) Salary: £90,000 + benefits
About the Role
Grafton Banks Finance is collaborating with a global Law Firm to recruit a newly created Financial Controller.
This critical position will drive the growth of the firm’s finance function, with particular importance as the business transitions to an LLP structure for the first time and integrates its European operations into a consolidated reporting framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Head of Finance to enhance financial control, improve reporting quality, and support strategic decision-making.
- Take ownership of delivering the firm’s first externally published LLP financial statements, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Lead process and control improvements in a complex environment, fostering stronger governance and efficiency.
- Play a pivotal role in shaping the evolution of the finance function, particularly in alignment with IFRS and consolidation standards.

Essential Requirements
- Qualified Accountant with strong technical expertise.
- Must have experience in LLP reporting within a Law Firm.
- Proven success in independently driving process improvements in dynamic environments.
- Group finance or consolidation experience would be advantageous, particularly with IFRS compliance.
