The Role

This role provides financial control support for the Colworth operation while helping maintain a strong and compliant financial control environment across the business.

The role plays an important part in ensuring controls are performed consistently, documented appropriately, and supported by clear evidence to meet internal and external audit requirements.

In addition, the role will provide cover and support for selected balance sheet control activities, helping ensure continuity of key financial processes during periods of absence or peak workload.

  • Lead and support a range of day-to-day and month-end financial controlling activities, including:
    • Preparation and submission of journals and month-end accounting entries.
    • Management of accruals and support for period-end close activities.
    • Maintenance of cross-charge information and allocations.
    • Resolution of finance and accounting queries from stakeholders.
    • Production of reports and analysis to support business decision-making.
    • Support for purchase order creation, invoice management and payment-related queries.
    • Assistance to Finance Business Partners and site operational teams with budgeting and financial administration activities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
