Financial Controller International Luxury Consumer Brand Central London offices - hybrid 3 days Salary - £70,000 + bonus & benefits Reporting into CEO & Fractional CFO
Overview A fast growing international luxury consumer brand is seeking a hands-on Financial Controller to lead core finance operations. This is an incredible opportunity to fast track your career and take ownership of the function with a lot of exposure to CEO and ample opportunity for progression available. The role focusses on maintaining strong financial controls, delivering accurate reporting, and supporting business growth through clear financial insight to non finance stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities Produce accurate monthly management accounts across multiple entities and deliver clear performance analysis Explain variances against budget and prior periods to support decision-making Lead month-end close, including full balance sheet reconciliations (debtors, creditors, cash, intercompany) Manage accruals, prepayments, and fixed asset registers Support budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes Partner with non-finance stakeholders to support decision making Oversee payroll activities Maintain short-term cashflow forecasts and monitor liquidity Manage receivables and payables to optimise working capital Ensure timely tax submissions and statutory compliance requirements Liaise with external advisors on international filings and reporting Maintain and improve financial controls, policies, and procedures Support implementation of finance or inventory systems Supervise and develop junior finance member

Candidate Profile Qualified accountant ideally (ACA / CIMA / ACCA) but will consider QBE with relevant industry experience Experience of retail, FMCG or consumer facing businesses - advantageous Strong experience in management accounting and financial control Background in SMEs or growing businesses highly advantageous Experience with multi-entity or multi-currency environments Confident in cashflow management, forecasting, and reconciliations Advanced Excel and financial systems knowledge
