About the Role
A fast-growing investment management business is looking to appoint a Financial Controller to support its continued expansion and acquisition strategy. This is a newly created, hands-on role in a high-performing finance team, with exposure across financial control, reporting, business partnering and commercial projects.
Working closely with the Head of Finance and senior leadership, you will play a key role in strengthening financial controls, supporting acquisitions and integrating new businesses, while providing high-quality financial information to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the month-end close, management accounts and statutory reporting process.
- Maintain a strong financial control environment, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Partner with senior stakeholders across the business, providing commercial financial support and insight.
- Support acquisitions, including financial integration and process improvements.
- Manage the external audit and liaise with tax and other external advisers.
- Drive improvements to finance processes, systems and reporting.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting.

Experience Required
- ACA / CIMA / ACCA or equivalent qualification.
- Previous Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager experience within the funds/investment management sector is essential.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge combined with a hands-on approach.
- Experience producing management accounts and statutory reporting.
- Excellent business partnering and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience supporting business growth, acquisitions or finance transformation projects would be advantageous.
