About you

  • Significant senior-level finance and accounting experience, ideally within hospitality
  • Previous experience as a Financial Controller or senior finance leader
  • Strong commercial acumen with excellent financial analysis skills
  • Proven track record managing budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and team development abilities
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience with hotel finance systems and accounting software
  • Qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent (preferred)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic hospitality environment

What you'll do

  • Lead the preparation of management accounts, P&L statements, and financial reports
  • Partner with operational leaders to drive profitability and meet business targets
  • Deliver accurate budgets, forecasts, and insightful financial analysis
  • Monitor performance metrics and provide strategic commentary on key trends
  • Develop and maintain robust financial controls, policies, and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and company requirements
  • Oversee the annual budgeting process and support strategic planning
  • Present financial results and KPIs to senior stakeholders
  • Manage external audits and liaise with relevant authorities
  • Oversee payroll and labour cost management
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to deliver excellence
