Financial Controller - Global Real Estate Investment Business London (Hybrid working), £75,000–£85,000 DOE + Bonus & Benefits
Robert Half is partnering with a leading global real estate investment business to recruit a Senior Financial Accountant who wants to step up into a controller position to join its London finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong accountant looking to join a large, listed international business in a broad financial accounting role. You'll work within a high-performing finance team, gaining exposure to complex reporting, technical accounting and a well-established control environment, with excellent opportunities for career progression.
The Role
Reporting into senior finance leadership, you'll support the delivery of high-quality financial reporting within a large, global listed business.

Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing monthly and year-end financial reporting and ensuring reporting deadlines are met.
- Owning key balance sheet reconciliations and supporting the month-end close process.
- Assisting with statutory accounts preparation and the external audit process.
- Supporting technical accounting matters and ensuring compliance with internal controls.
- Partnering with stakeholders across finance to improve reporting processes and drive efficiencies.
- Contributing to finance projects, including process improvements and accounting change initiatives where required.
About You
- ACA qualified (or equivalent), ideally trained within a Big 4 or leading accountancy practice.
- Experience auditing large listed clients.
- A minimum of 3 years' post-qualified experience in industry.
- Current experience in a Financial Accounting role within a large listed organisation.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and financial reporting experience.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business.

Desirable:
- Experience working within a SOX control environment.
- Exposure to US GAAP.
- Experience within real estate, investment management or financial services would be advantageous but is not essential.
