Finatal are partnered with a professional services business who are looking to bring on a Financial Controller to support the business through their next stage of growth. This is a newly created role and you will have the opportunity to lead a strong finance team, work with a sector specialist CFO and work in a very interesting industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Improve month end reporting.
  • Oversee and enhance financial controls, processes, and systems to support scalability.
  • Manage the finance team, providing leadership and support to ensure high performance.
  • Support the preparation of statutory accounts in line with UK GAAP.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on budget forecasts, financial planning, and cash flow management.
  • Assist with audits, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Identify target acquisitions.
  • Identify key areas where commercial contracts can be improved.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • ACA/ACCA/ CIMA qualified or equivalent.
  • Strong technical accounting skills, including statutory reporting and consolidations.
