Interim Financial Controller – 3-6-Month Contract (Remote) - Outside IR35
A private equity-backed software business is seeking an immediately available Group Financial Controller (ACA or ACCA qualified) to support during a key period of growth and transformation. Circa £10M t/o and growing quickly by acquisition.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee the multi-entity management accounts process, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
- Lead group consolidation across a multi-entity structure
- Support the CFO with the implementation of new systems / processes
- Play a role in the integration of acquisitions, enhancing reporting and controls post-deal
- Provide support to the finance team, including oversight, coordination, and mentoring
- Drive improvements in financial processes, controls, and reporting efficiency

Candidate profile:
- ACA or ACCA qualified, ideally with an audit-trained background
- Strong technical accounting skills, particularly around consolidations and multi-entity environments
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth setting
- Able to partner effectively with a strategic and commercially focused CFO
- Proactive, energetic, and hands-on approach
