Financial Director
Finance Director | PE-Backed SaaS Buy & Build | London | Hybrid
Salary: £150k - £180k + Bonus/Equity and Excellent Benefits
We are partnering with a high-growth, PE-backed SaaS group seeking a Finance Director to oversee the finance function during a critical phase of growth and scaling. This is a unique opportunity for a commercially minded, senior finance leader to:
- Take ownership of strategic financial management
- Lead investor relations
- Drive M&A activity across an international, fast-growing business
The Role
Reporting directly to the CEO, the ideal candidate will:
- Build and scale the finance function
- Drive strategic financial planning, board reporting, and PE sponsor engagement
- Shape the company’s growth strategy
- Support acquisitions and ensure a robust finance infrastructure
- Scale the business globally

Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial strategy, board reporting, and investor communications
- Manage the relationship with the private equity sponsor
- Drive M&A activity, including valuation, structuring, and integration
- Oversee debt, covenants, and banking relationships
- Build, develop, and lead a high-performing finance team
- Enhance systems, processes, and financial infrastructure
- Provide data-driven recommendations to the CEO and board

Essential Background
- 10–15 years’ experience in finance, including roles as CFO, Finance Director, or Head of Finance
- Proven experience in PE-backed or high-growth, multi-entity SaaS businesses
- Strong expertise in debt financing and capital structure management
- Demonstrated M&A (buy-side) experience
- A strategic thinker with a hands-on, delivery-focused approach
