Finance Director
Hybrid – 2-3 days in the office per week, remainder at home (Head Office based in Brinkworth, Chippenham)
£110,000 to £130,000

What you’ll be doing:
- Financial Strategy & Planning – CEO’s go to advisor for financial and commercial matters, implement financial strategies, oversee financial forecasting, budgeting and investment planning.
- Financial Management & Reporting – oversee cash flow and working capital, lead on finance projects.
- Leadership & Team Management – lead and mentor the accounting and finance team, act as a strategic partner to CEO and other department heads, communicate financial performance to the Board of Directors & parent company, manage relationships with external auditor to ensure compliance.
- Risk Management, Compliance & Regulatory Affairs – ensure compliance, implement robust internal controls and risk management frameworks.
- Business Growth & Investment Support – assess financial viability of new renewable energy projects, mergers and acquisitions, manage relationships with financial institutions, investors and funding bodies, support transition to sustainable financial models.

What We’re Looking For
- A qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with proven experience at FD or senior finance leadership level, preferably in the energy, infrastructure, or industrial sectors.
- Experience working within high-growth, entrepreneurial or evolving environments
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g. MS Dynamics 365) and financial reporting tools.
- Ability to balance local operations with international corporate policies.
- Experience working within an international corporate structure.
- Strong commercial awareness and strategic thinking capability
- A hands-on approach with the ability to build and improve processes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- The confidence to challenge, influence and support senior teams
- High level of integrity and capable of leading a full finance function and partnering directly with a CEO.
