The Opportunity
Do you see yourself working in a growing VC firm? Having exposure to their investment portfolio? This is a great opportunity to really make a difference within a business that has a clear 5 year plan.
What are some of the key responsibilities?
- Overseeing all aspects of finance from transactional finance, monthly close, management accounts to statutory accounts, budgeting and financial strategy to companies house submissions
- Reporting and analysis for cash flow modelling
- Business partnering the COO and others to support strategy and decision making
- Quarterly, reconciling fees and payments across different funding vehicles to ensure accurate revenue recognition
- Timely fund reporting to investors
- Supporting the largest/later stage portfolio companies with FP&A support including validating work/models to support decision making and exit readiness

What will your background be?
- You will be a qualified accountant with post qualified experience working within the fintech, fund/investment management or the consumer tech space
- You will be operating at a FC/senior FP&A/FD/Head of Finance level and over the next few years have the desire to become a CFO
- This is a very hands on role as well as strategic in nature. You need to be happy and willing to be involved in the detail.
