I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Workflow discipline sits at the heart of how we operate, and it's something we genuinely care about.

You'll own the financial strategy, controls and commercial performance of the agency, working directly with our leadership team.
What That Looks Like Day To Day
- Full ownership of financial planning, reporting and cash flow
- Tightening the commercial engine behind our media trading discipline
- Giving the board the clarity to make the right decisions quickly

You'll shape how we invest as we grow, not just track it.
We're looking for someone who's operated at this level before, ideally in media, agency or a fast-scaling services business. Someone who cares about the detail but never loses sight of the bigger picture. Someone who wants to build, not just maintain.
In return, you'll get a seat at the table from day one, a business in genuine growth mode, and a team that takes the work seriously without taking themselves too seriously.
If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
Closing date: 31 July.
