Finance Expert
Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere) Job Type: Contract Payout: $30 – $40/hour
About the Role
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Finance Expert to work on a contract basis. The role involves providing financial guidance and support to optimise business operations. You will analyze financial data, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform financial analysis, variance analysis, and trend analysis to identify key business drivers and opportunities for cost optimisation.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes.
- Conduct financial due diligence and risk assessment for new business initiatives or partnerships.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial close processes and month-end reconciliations.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis tools, such as Excel and ERP systems.
- Experience with financial modelling and forecasting methodologies.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS accounting principles and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills to address financial discrepancies.
