About the Financial Lines Group
The Financial Lines sector is one of the most dynamic and rapidly evolving areas within insurance. It safeguards organizations against complex risks, including:
- Cyber-attacks
- Professional liability claims
- Regulatory investigations
- Management liability
- Emerging technology exposures
As businesses evolve, so do the risks. Financial Lines professionals play a vital role in helping clients navigate uncertainty, merge analytical thinking with relationship-building, and solve commercial challenges at the intersection of business, finance, technology, and risk.

The Graduate Program
This 12-month developmental experience is designed for recent graduates eager to launch a career in insurance. From day one, you’ll:
- Understand risk assessment, placement, and management
- Develop technical and commercial skills to advise clients effectively
- Work across specialist areas, including:
- Financial Institutions
- Cyber Insurance
- Directors & Officers (D&O) Liability

Program Components: ✔ Structured learning and professional development workshops ✔ Networking opportunities with peers and leadership ✔ Mentoring from experienced brokers ✔ Extracurricular sessions with senior leaders through speaker events and interactive discussions
Key Responsibilities
- Rotate across teams (e.g., Financial Institutions, Cyber, D&O Liability) to gain broad exposure to Financial Lines insurance and claims.
- Support client accounts, learning how insurance programs are designed, marketed, and placed.
- Assist with:
- Presentations and submissions
- Renewal strategies
- Client deliverables
- Research industry trends, emerging risks, and market shifts to support client placements.
- Build insurer/underwriter relationships, gaining insights into coverage structures and negotiations.
- Participate in client meetings, strategy discussions, and renewal planning.
- Explore claims management, client servicing, and the broader insurance lifecycle.
- Develop technical, commercial, and relational skills essential to a successful broking career.
Who Are We Looking For?
Requirements
- Recent graduates or nearing graduation from any academic discipline (no prior insurance experience required—training provided!).
- GPA of 3.2 or above on a cumulative scale (or equivalent).
- Personality and Mindset Fit:
- Curious and proactive, eager to learn and explore risks/finance.
- Adaptable and thriving in fast-paced environments.
- Strong communicator, with a knack for relationship-building.
- Problem-solver with a positive, solutions-focused approach.
- Motivated and resourceful, willing to take ownership.
- Resilient and organized, capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
