Position: Financial Modeling Specialist
Type: Contract
Compensation: $15 - $28/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week
About the Role
A Financial Modeling Specialist will develop, refine, and maintain robust financial models to support strategic decision-making and business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Develop, refine, and maintain robust financial models to forecast business outcomes and support strategic decision-making
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including budgeting, variance analysis, and cost optimization initiatives
- Prepare accurate, timely financial reports using advanced Excel skills and financial reporting tools
- Ensure strict adherence to accounting principles and regulatory compliance across financial operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align financial insights with organizational goals
- Advise on best practices for financial planning, systems design, and process improvements

Requirements
- Proven expertise in financial modeling, financial analysis, and forecasting
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and leading financial reporting tools
- Thorough understanding of budgeting, cost optimization, and accounting principles
- Experience with regulatory compliance in financial environments
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration abilities
- Background in consulting or advisory roles within finance or related domains
