Financial Modeller Oxford 6 Months Fixed Term Contract Competitive salary + strong benefits package Hydrogen · Clean energy · Infrastructure

THE CONTEXT The UK's hydrogen infrastructure is being built right now. Hydra B is at the centre of it, developing the technology, vehicles, power systems and services that will move green hydrogen from ambition to operational reality across the transport and energy sectors. The numbers that underpin those decisions - investment cases, project economics, scenario planning, lender analysis - need to be right. That's this role.

THE ROLE You'll build, maintain and run financial models across HydraB's projects and business units. Three-statement models, cash flow analysis, scenario and sensitivity work, and the supporting schedules that serious finance decisions are made from. You'll work directly with the Head of Finance and Group CFO, and partner with engineers, commercial leads and operations teams to make sure the numbers reflect what's actually happening on the ground. High volume. High accuracy. Fast turnaround. The kind of role where the work genuinely matters.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
