We are working with a growing WealthTech business in London that has built a strong reputation for combining sophisticated financial modelling, investment expertise, and technology to deliver highly personalised financial planning solutions for private clients.
Following a period of sustained growth, they are looking to hire a Lead Financial Modelling Analyst on a 12-month fixed-term contract to join their specialist modelling team. This role sits at the heart of the business's modelling capability and will focus on the continued development and enhancement of its financial planning and asset & liability modelling (ALM) frameworks. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues across Product, Technology, and client-facing teams to improve existing models, develop new functionality, and help shape the future direction of the firm's analytical capabilities.
The business has developed a genuinely impressive culture and attracts individuals who enjoy intellectual challenge, collaboration, and taking ownership. Despite its growth, it retains an entrepreneurial environment where strong performers can make a visible impact and contribute directly to the evolution of the platform and broader business.
The position would suit somebody with strong quantitative and analytical skills who enjoys solving complex financial problems and turning concepts into practical modelling solutions. Candidates could come from a range of backgrounds including wealth management, financial planning, investments, actuarial, risk, banking, or other quantitative modelling environments.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
