A leading UK real estate developer and operator is seeking a BTR Finance Operations Accountant to join its growing build-to-rent platform. With a significant pipeline of large-scale, mixed-use regeneration schemes across London and a long-term owner-operator model, the business is at the forefront of delivering high-quality rental communities.

The Role

This is a highly collaborative role sitting within the BTR platform, partnering closely with both on-site operational teams and the corporate finance function. The position offers strong exposure to senior stakeholders and plays a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, operational control, and regulatory compliance across a growing residential portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Rent & Revenue Management

  • Monitor rent collection across the portfolio and perform monthly rent reconciliations
  • Review arrears with site teams, post bad debt provisions, and escalate risks
  • Report on arrears positions and payment plans
  • Support month-end close, including posting gross potential rent
  • Review failed payments and ensure timely follow-up
  • Manage resident-related transactions including refunds, deposits, and move-out balances

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
