Role Overview
This is not a conventional finance or accounting role. AP Companies seeks a Financial Operations & Revenue Cycle Manager who can bridge Operations, Billing, Collections, Provider Payments, IT, and senior management to ensure efficient processes, automation, and data-driven decision-making.
The role does not involve daily chase of overdue invoices. Instead, the successful candidate will:
- Oversee financial operations efficiency
- Align teams effectively
- Anticipate issues before they escalate
- Drive process improvements and automation
- Provision management with clear visibility via reporting and KPIs
Responsibilities
Core Financial and Operational Leadership
- Oversee Billing, Accounts Receivable, and Provider Payment Operations
- Monitor outstanding receivables, overdue balances, and overall cash flow performance
- Coordinate collection activities and ensure timely follow-up on overdue invoices

Analytical and Strategic Oversight
- Analyse operational and financial performance to identify risks, bottlenecks, and improvement areas
- Develop and maintain KPI dashboards, producing regular management reports
- Monitor SLA (Service Level Agreement) performance to ensure targets are met
Collaboration & Process Innovation
- Work closely with IT and automation teams to enhance efficiency and reduce manual tasks
- Lead process improvement initiatives across Billing, Claims, Finance, and Operations
- Support AI, automation, and digital transformation projects
Reporting & Executive Communication
- Present weekly performance updates and action plans to the senior management team
Requirements
Experience & Qualifications
- Academic background in a quantitative discipline
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing Billing, Revenue Cycle, Financial Operations, or Operational Performance teams
- Essential experience in Healthcare, Medical Assistance, TPA (Third-Party Administrator), International Health Insurance, or similar service industries
Technical & Analytical Skills
- Advanced Excel proficiency
- Strong analytical skills
- Power BI or similar BI tools expertise
- Experience in preparing Board-level or senior management reports

- Proven track record in improving operational processes
- Experience with workforce planning, productivity enhancement, and automation implementation
- Strong proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
Soft Skills & Stakeholder Management
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Key Performance Objectives (KPIs)
✔ Reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)
- Drive down aged Accounts Receivable balances (especially over 60 and 90 days)
- Improve collection rates to optimise cash flow
✔ Enhance Billing Efficiency
- Reduce invoice rejection rates through accuracy improvements
- Shorten invoice turnaround times
- Clear operational backlogs in Billing and Collections
✔ Improve Provider Payment Turnaround
- Ensure strict adherence to payment terms and SLAs
- Optimise cross-functional compliance in Billing, Collections, and Provider Payments
✔ Drive Continuous Process Improvement
- Increase proportion of automated operational processes
- Deliver measurable enhancements quarterly
✔ Provide Clear Reporting
- Maintain accurate weekly and monthly KPI dashboards
- Support cross-functional excellence for scalable growth
