Financial Planner – Preparing for Strategic Expansion
About the Role
Recruit Wealth are excited to connect you with one of the UK’s fastest-growing national Financial Planning firms, currently under private equity backing and expanding through strategic acquisitions.
This highly respected firm delivers a holistic client proposition, combining financial planning, wealth management, investment management, and professional advisory solutions to drive exceptional outcomes for private clients across the UK.
To support continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Financial Planner to join the firm’s Braintree regional office as part of its national network of over 70+ offices.
The Opportunity
This is a highly attractive advisory opportunity where you will:
✔ Inherit an established client base (established through succession planning) ✔ Access strong internal referral channels ✔ Flip defer referral relationships
The inherited clients will include details around:
- Households
- Assets Under Management (AUM)
- Average client size
- Ongoing advice fees (discussed during the application process)

Ideal Candidate
You should be an experienced financial adviser with:
- 2+ years in Financial Planning or Wealth Advisory
- Competent Adviser Status (CAS)
- Statement of Professional Standing (SPS)
- FCA registration
- Minimum Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (with ongoing professional development)
- A track record advising private clients in pensions, investments, and protection
- Satisfactory financial background and reputation

Package & Benefits
- Employed position with the below benefits:
- Competitive base salary (£65,000–£100,000)
- Performance-linked bonuses (based on new business capacity, initial fees & ongoing advisory income)

Preference will be given to candidates looking to maintain client relationships in the Essex region post-joining.
