Financial Planner | Edinburgh
Role
We are working with a growing financial planning company to secure an experienced Financial Planner to join their Edinburgh office, taking over the management of an established portfolio of clients. This is an interesting and unique opportunity, as the business is actively developing how these clients are looked after and advised, giving the successful candidate real scope to shape the ongoing service and build out a proper, rounded financial planning relationship with them.
- You will take on a portfolio including a number of higher value, more complex client relationships, alongside a broader client base, and will play an ongoing role in developing the depth and breadth of advice provided to these clients as the offering evolves.
- There is also the opportunity to mentor and coach more junior planners as the business continues to grow, with potential scope to step into a management role within the office further down the line for the right person.

Requirements
To be considered for this role you will have or must be:
- An experienced Financial Planner, comfortable managing a varied and complex client portfolio
- Comfortable building out and developing a client proposition, rather than simply maintaining an existing service
- Happy to mentor and support the development of more junior planners
- Open to the possibility of taking on wider management responsibility as the office grows
