Financial Planner | Flexible Hybrid Working | Boutique Independent Wealth Management Firm

Nigel James Associates are working exclusively with a growing independent financial planning company as they look to appoint an experienced Financial Planner.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a strong financially backed business with ambitious expansion plans and a genuine long-term vision. The firm has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality financial planning and is now looking for an experienced adviser who can take ownership of an established client portfolio while helping to drive the next stage of its growth.

You'll inherit an existing book of recurring income from day one, alongside access to a healthy flow of new enquiries generated through the firm's marketing activity and professional network. There is also the opportunity for advisers with existing clients to bring these across, with a competitive revenue share model and support available for acquiring client banks where appropriate. This, however, is not needed for this position and a separate opportunity for Financial Planners in this position.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
