About the Team

This Associate Director role is a newly created hybrid position, split between our London and Sutton offices (1–2 days a week in each location). Reporting to the Financial Planning team, you’ll support growth initiatives while balancing existing client obligations. As part of a growing team of planners and support staff, your double responsibility will be:

  • Ensuring consistent, high-quality service to an expanding client base
  • Securing and cultivating a strong local market presence to attract new clients

About the Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Market development & new business generation:

    • Build or enhance local market visibility and design a strategy to win new clients
    • Comply with Forvis Mazars’ Training and Competence Scheme (Financial Planning)
  • Client portfolio management:

    • Take ownership of a portfolio of existing financial planning clients, identifying and pursuing opportunities
  • Technical excellence & client collaboration:

    • Deliver tailored financial planning advice to both internal and externally referred clients
    • Support the growth of the Milton Keynes business, working with the wider Forvis Mazars network
  • Continuous professional development:

    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of personal tax strategies, financial planning regulations, and industry trends

Requirements

Qualification & experience:

  • Diploma qualification as a minimum requirement
  • Ideally: Certified Financial Planner or Chartered Financial Planner

  • Proven financial planning expertise, with a track record in securing new external business
  • Ability to proactively manage client relationships, both current and new
