Titan Wealth Planning (TWP)
Titan Wealth Planning (TWP) is a subsidiary of Titan Wealth. Our focus is providing best-in-class advice on wealth management, employee benefits, and retirement planning. Our mission is to help businesses and their employees explore, set, and achieve their financial goals.
The Role
The purpose of this role is to deliver excellent financial planning, advice, and service to clients via a desk-based service model, you will be servicing existing clients with investable assets of up to £250,000. This department of the business is leading in tech adoption to enhance financial planner and client experiences.
This is a growing team, and will provide a fantastic opportunity for those already within Private Client roles or with a Paraplanning background, who hold the level 4 diploma (essential) and are looking to start their career within Financial Planning.
This is a hybrid role- Inverurie - full-time permanent role (35 hours a week) - 3 days a week working from the office, 2 can be UK home-based.
Job Responsibilities
- Focus on new business development. With proactive client contacting to convert legacy clients to our ongoing service proposition
- Focus on actively engaging with and reviewing existing clients to deliver our ongoing service proposition
- Provide a holistic financial planning solution to private clients across the full suite of financial planning solutions
- Achieve revenue targets set by the business and regional manager
- Proactively drive for cross-selling and referring business into other parts of the group
- Maintain & nurture existing client relationships, identifying and fulfilling new advice needs where appropriate
- Generate new client enquiries and generate advice income from these
- Undertake sales and marketing activity in line with local/regional/national plans
- Provide expert independent advice to designated clients in compliance with relevant regulations and Titan policies and values
- Maintain 'Fit and Proper' status through continuous professional development, suitable development opportunities, and maintenance of SPS Evidence
- Maintain knowledge of company policies, processes, and guidance
- Ensure that client advice and reports are compliant with company processes and regulatory requirements
- Use standard template documentation approved by the company
- Ensure technical knowledge and general industry knowledge are always maintained
- Deliver a positive client service experience to ensure appropriate client outcomes, client journey, and client communication
- Speed of response/turnaround time in accordance with service standards set out in procedures and clients kept appropriately appraised
- Processes are executed in compliance with all regulations, as evidenced by file checks, observations, and client feedback
- Establish relationships with other business groups in the Titan group to achieve reciprocal business
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with external professional connections (ensuring appropriate agreements in place) to develop additional business opportunities
- Use objectives to focus on key business areas
- Highlight personal training needs to ensure a consistent level of service is offered to the business
- Ensure reading and product knowledge are always up to date to maintain and develop the quality of reports and research
- Perform ad hoc tasks as and when required, always bearing in mind TCF and the needs of the business
- Highlight to your line manager procedures & processes that do not adhere to the principles of TCF/RCR and to put forward suggestions that improve the TCF/RCR practices within the department
- Carry out any other duties as may reasonably be required
- Adhere to consumer duty

Role Requirements
- Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel and Databases
- Cash Flow Modelling (preferable but not essential)
- Excellent standard of written and verbal communication
- Technical competence across all areas of financial planning
- Good decision-making skills
- Analytical mind and excellent attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with an ability to work to deadlines
- Ability to coach and provide feedback
- Good technical knowledge and understanding of relevant regulations
- Essential - Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent)
