Join the RAC as an FP&A Manager and play a key role in supporting performance reporting and decision-making across the business.

Working within our Group FP&A team, you'll support reporting, forecasting and analysis across the RAC Group, providing insight that helps senior leaders understand performance and plan for the future.

This is an excellent opportunity for a newly / qualified accountant looking to build their career in a high-profile finance function. You'll gain exposure to Executive and Board-level reporting, work closely with stakeholders, and play a key role in turning data into meaningful business insight.

We're looking for someone who's analytical, commercially aware and eager to learn. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working with detail, and be confident communicating findings to a range of stakeholders.

What You'll Do

  • Own the delivery of weekly trade reporting and support monthly management reporting across the RAC Group
  • Analyse financial and operational performance against budget, forecast and prior year
  • Identify trends, risks, opportunities and performance drivers, providing clear insight and recommendations
  • Support the annual budget and forecasting process, including P&L, KPI and cash forecasting
  • Maintain financial models and planning assumptions
  • Challenge divisional assumptions and forecasts to improve planning quality and performance outcomes
  • Support scenario planning and sensitivity analysis
  • Produce ad hoc financial analysis to support business decision-making
  • Drive process improvements, automation and efficiencies across reporting and forecasting activities
  • Support the adoption of new planning and reporting tools across Finance

What You'll Need

  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA or ICAEW newly / qualified accountant with up to 3 years' experience in a finance environment
  • Strong experience of budgeting, forecasting and management reporting
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
  • Strong analytical capability and attention to detail
  • Ability to understand the story behind the numbers and communicate it effectively
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence working with and influencing stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • A curious, proactive and commercially minded approach
  • A continuous improvement mindset and desire to help shape better ways of working

Location & Salary

  • Location: Bescot, Walsall (Hybrid working, Tuesday and Wednesday in the office and three days from home)
  • Salary: Aligns with market and experience + annual bonus
