A global manufacturer is rapidly expanding its UK operations and has a new vacancy for a FP&A Accountant to join the team. Working closely with the Finance Director you will be responsible for preparing detailed forecasts, budgets, and supporting monthly management accounts. Candidates are sought with experience gained within a fast-paced environment (manufacturing, engineering, distribution, construction, etc).
The Role
- Prepare detailed cost analysis across all areas of the business.
- Identify, develop, and implement continuous improvement activities.
- Develop and produce financial and operating reports.
- Prepare project weekly, monthly, and annual forecasts.
- Assist in the delivery of site annual business plans, providing financial and commercial guidance where necessary.
- Support month-end financial closing activities and ensure an efficient and effective close is performed.
- Maintain the integrity of the Company’s internal controls, processes, procedures, and systems.
- Support the company’s operations by providing financial information for decision making.

- Previous accounting experience gained in a fast-paced environment.
- Qualified to ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent including qualified by experience.
- Experience of working with teams to implement best practice and driving process improvements and reporting capabilities.
- Flexibility, well organized, and able to work under time constraints and deadlines.
- Organisational skills with strong attention to detail and analytical ability.
