Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst - Rentokil Initial

We are currently seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst to join our dedicated team at our Camberley office, reporting to the Financial Planning & Analysis Team Leader.
This role will involve supporting three key business areas:
- Ireland businesses
- Ambius (one of our plant businesses)
- Marketing reporting
Support to other business units may be required as needs arise.

Role Responsibilities
📊 Financial Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports, including:
- Operational and sales performance
- Marketing spend and sales generated (using Excel/Google Sheets/ slides)
- Weekly tracking of sales incentives to drive product sales
- Ad-hoc analysis and reporting upon senior management requests
- Investigate and explain variances to enhance report accuracy and tactical decision-making
- Respond to queries promptly with data accuracy, conducting follow-up investigations where needed
- Adjust and create new reports to meet emerging business needs
- Provide support for budgeting, forecasting, and planning with the Financial Controller and management accountant

🔄 Stakeholder Engagement
- Maintain strong relationships with:
- Operations Director
- Branch Managers
- Understand region-specific challenges, customer performance, and business key metrics
- Present budgets and targets clearly to stakeholders
- Communicate variances professionally during monthly reviews
- Collaborate with Management Accountants to ensure accurate accounting information
Requirements
Key Skills & Attributes
- Excel & Google Sheets Expertise: Proficient in formulas, pivot tables, data presentation, and trend analysis
- Ability to manipulate and extract insights from large datasets
- Strong independent work ethic and task prioritisation skills
- Time management with confidence to meet month-end deadlines
- Database exposure (Qlik, BigQuery, DataStudio) a plus (not essential)
- Precision & attention to detail critical for accuracy in financials
- Studying or aiming to begin recognised qualifications (CIMA, ACCA, or AAT) is advantageous
