Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

FP&A Manager, London (FTC – Maternity Cover)

Location: London Type: Full-Time Contract (Maternity Cover) Terms: Up to £ (plus bonus) Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2 days in the office)

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic planning cycle, including the 3-year plan and annual budget, in collaboration with the Executive team.
  • Own and enhance the monthly reporting framework, delivering insightful management accounts and KPI analysis.
  • Partner with the CFO to drive operational performance, with a focus on order-to-cash efficiency and cost optimisation.
  • Produce monthly forecasts and provide clear recommendations to optimise revenue, cash flow, and cost control.
  • Support the CFO in managing relationships with external stakeholders, including private equity investors and lenders.
  • Champion data governance and BI improvements, leading initiatives to strengthen reporting capabilities and business insights.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of FP&A experience, with expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
  • Preferred: Experience within a private equity-backed or high-growth environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen and proven ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including macros.
  • Exceptional communicator with the ability to present financial insights to leadership.
