FP&A Manager | Private Equity Backed Facilities Management Business

Nottingham | 3 days Per Week On-Site £75,000 - £85,000 + 20% Bonus

Are you an ambitious FP&A leader looking for a role that offers genuine strategic influence, exposure to M&A, and a clear pathway to becoming a key member of the executive leadership team?

Our client is a fast-growing, Private Equity-backed Facilities Management business with revenues of approximately £30m and a highly ambitious growth agenda. With plans to double in size over the coming years through a combination of organic growth and acquisitions, they are seeking an exceptional Head of FP&A to help shape the next phase of the company's journey.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a highly visible role that will act as the commercial and financial right hand to the leadership team, providing critical insight, challenge and support across all areas of the business.

The Opportunity This is far more than a traditional FP&A position. You will take ownership of the entire planning, forecasting and performance management process whilst playing a key role in strategic decision-making, contract profitability, acquisition activity and investor reporting.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
