FP&A Manager (6-Month Fixed-Term Contract)
Location: London Type: Hybrid Industry: Private Equity-Backed Education Business
We’re partnering with a fast-growing, private equity-backed education group to appoint an experienced FP&A Manager on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract. This high-impact role is perfect for someone who excels at improving finance processes as well as delivering high-quality planning and analysis. You’ll collaborate closely with the CFO and senior leadership team to enhance the FP&A function while supporting a complex, multi-site business through its next stage of growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
- Improve and streamline FP&A processes, reporting, and financial controls
- Develop insightful management reporting, dashboards, and KPI analysis
- Partner with operational leaders across multiple sites to provide commercial financial support
- Review existing planning models and identify automation and efficiency opportunities
- Support strategic projects, including investment appraisals and business performance initiatives
- Drive continuous improvement across finance systems, reporting, and planning capabilities

About You
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
- Strong FP&A background within a multi-site business
- Experience in sectors such as education, healthcare, retail, leisure, or hospitality (or other multi-site environments)
- Demonstrable track record in process improvement and enhancing finance functions
- Commercially minded with excellent stakeholder management skills
- Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with FP&A systems like Anaplan, Power BI, or Adaptive Planning would be advantageous
