Senior FP&A Manager - Biotech/Lifesciences Location: Oxford, Oxfordshire (Hybrid) Salary: £85,000 - £95,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

The Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and commercially astute Senior FP&A Manager to join a growing and dynamic organisation in Oxford.

This highly visible role will provide strategic financial leadership and support decision-making across a large-scale operational division. Working closely with senior stakeholders and operational leaders, you will drive budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning and financial analysis while ensuring resources are aligned to strategic objectives.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused finance professional who enjoys partnering with stakeholders, influencing decision-making and delivering meaningful business insights.

Key Responsibilities Finance Business Partnering Act as the lead finance contact for a major operational area. Provide financial leadership, strategic insight and commercial challenge to senior stakeholders. Support investment appraisals, business cases and strategic decision-making. Deliver financial modelling, scenario analysis and risk assessments. Collaborate across departments to ensure effective allocation of resources. Identify opportunities to improve financial performance and operational efficiency. Drive continuous improvement across finance processes, systems and reporting.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Reporting Lead the month-end management accounts process. Manage annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles. Produce insightful financial reports and variance analysis for leadership teams. Develop presentations that clearly communicate financial performance and future outlook. Maintain and enhance long-range financial models (5+ years). Build and improve driver-based forecasting models at project and programme level. Support finance system enhancements and automation initiatives.

About You We are seeking a qualified finance professional who combines strong technical expertise with excellent stakeholder management skills. Essential Requirements Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent). Proven experience in a Finance Business Partnering or FP&A leadership role. Strong management accounting and financial planning expertise. Experience producing and presenting management information to senior stakeholders. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. Strong financial modelling and forecasting capability. Excellent communication and influencing skills. Ability to translate complex financial information into clear business insights. Experience working with ERP and reporting systems (Oracle Fusion advantageous). Highly organised with strong attention to detail. Proactive, adaptable and comfortable operating within a fast-paced environment.

Location The successful candidate will be based in Oxford or within a reasonable commuting distance. Relocation support may be considered for exceptional candidates.
