Financial Planning and Analysis Manager
As Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, you'll be at the heart of the organisation—driving reporting excellence, identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiency, and partnering with key stakeholders across the business. You'll transform complex financial data into clear, actionable insights that support critical commercial decisions and help drive future growth.
This newly created role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with the Head of FP&A, taking ownership of company-wide financial performance reporting and delivering insights that shape strategic decision-making. Ideal for a qualified finance professional ready for their next challenge, this position offers the chance to make a real impact within a dynamic retail business.
The FP&A Manager Opportunity
- Take ownership of all company level regular financial performance reporting;
- Own the reporting framework ensuring integrity of data, definitions and methodology for all company KPI's;
- Implement and document controls for all reporting processes;
- Preparation of the monthly financial performance pack;
- Implement Like for like reporting approach to allow greater understanding of financial performance;
- Supporting regional FC's by designing and preparing standardised performance reports;
- Identify and implement new reporting and analytics to drive business decision making;
- Convert data into commercial insight and influence the operations teams with the conclusions;
- Work with Operations, regional Finance and Commercial teams to provide financial insight to decisions;
- Support the Head of FP&A with investment case analysis;
- Support the wider business with ad hoc financial analysis as and when required;
- Review all current reporting and simplify and automate as necessary.
- Work with Finance and Operations stakeholders to prepare annual budgets and monthly reforecasts.

About You
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) preferred;
- Confident Excel user;
- Experience with Workday Adaptive or similar software;
- Previous experience of FP&A or Commercial Finance is desired;
- Knowledge of financial reporting within retail industries would be advantageous.
Successful candidates will be subject to appropriate pre-employment checks, including right to work verification and DBS checks.
