About the Firm

To support this expansion, the firm is seeking a commercially minded FP&A Manager to partner with the senior leadership team and shape the strategic financial direction of the business.

The Role

The FP&A Manager will lead the financial planning, forecasting, and strategic analysis function. Moving beyond traditional number-tracking, the successful candidate will act as a true business partner to departmental heads and executive stakeholders to drive profitability, efficiency, and commercial growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Leads the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term rolling planning cycles across the firm.
  • Business Partnering: Builds strong relationships with practice leads and regional executives to provide commercial insights, challenge assumptions, and support decision-making.
  • Performance Analysis: Develops and monitors key operational metrics, KPIs, and variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
  • Executive Reporting: Prepares high-quality monthly management decks, board packs, and strategic presentations for senior leadership.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously improves FP&A models, systems, and workflows to enhance data accuracy and efficiency.

Candidate Profile

  • Qualifications: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: Proven experience in an FP&A or corporate finance role, ideally within a Professional Services or B2B environment.
  • Technical Savvy: Advanced financial modeling skills (Excel is essential) and experience utilizing BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) or modern ERP/EPM systems.
  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable strategy for non-finance stakeholders.
  • Mindset: A proactive, curious problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
