Financial Planning Associate

Our client is a growing, ambitious wealth management and financial planning firm that is changing the way clients experience advice. Their teams are small enough for you to make a genuine impact, while the wider business has the scale, support, and structure to help you develop your long-term career.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone already working in Financial Planning who is looking for a role that offers meaningful client exposure, hands-on technical work, and a clear pathway towards becoming a Financial Planner.

The Opportunity

This role is centred around client relationship management, technical planning support, and adviser development. You will work closely with a senior Financial Planner who manages a substantial and fast-growing client base, giving you direct exposure to high-net-worth clients, complex planning requirements, and high-quality advice delivery.

Over an expected two to three-year development period, you will receive direct mentoring and coaching from an experienced adviser. You will build the practical skills required to progress into an advisory role, including client engagement, professional networking, lead generation, and the commercial aspects of building long-term client relationships.

The business offers a structured Junior Financial Planner pathway, providing a clear and achievable route into a future adviser position.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
