Financial Planning and Performance Manager
We are looking for a Financial Planning and Performance Manager to join our Finance team here at Harrods. A unique opportunity to build processes, reporting and models from the ground up and develop new stakeholder relationships.
About the Role
The Financial Planning and Performance Manager will own the preparation of weekly trading performance reporting for Harrods Retail Group, ensuring outputs are accurate, timely and provide clear insight into key drivers, risks and opportunities as well as play a leading role in the delivery of the annual budget process, building models, challenging assumptions and ensuring outputs are coherent, consistent and aligned to business drivers.
Job Responsibilities
- Own the production and detailed analysis of monthly P&L reporting, working closely with Financial Control to ensure results are accurate, reconciled and supported by clear, well-articulated interpretation
- Ensure forecasting is not purely mechanical, but reflects a considered view of underlying business performance, incorporating commercial insight, trend analysis and forward-looking judgement
- Conduct scenario modelling and analysis on key internal and external drivers, providing quantified insight into potential risks, opportunities and trade-offs.
- Develop and maintain KPI and performance dashboards that provide clear insight into trends, drivers and areas requiring management focus

About You
You are an emotionally intelligent and commercially minded finance professional with the interpersonal skills to build and sustain strong business relationships, providing both support and constructive challenge where needed.
- You combine strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the agility to identify issues quickly and develop effective solutions.
- Digitally savvy and naturally curious, you are comfortable with financial modelling and enthusiastic about the opportunities presented by data, technology and AI.
- You thrive in environments where ambiguity exists and have the intellectual capacity to navigate organisations through periods of change and transformation.
- As an ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified professional, you bring technical expertise alongside sound commercial judgement.
- Above all, you demonstrate integrity, transparency and honesty in every interaction, underpinned by a genuine passion for delivering successful outcomes and taking pride in your work.
