What You Will Do

  • Providing critical financial oversight and guidance for the contracts they maintain.
  • Partnership with Program Management and cross-functional leads to support program execution.
  • Support of all programs financial aspects including financial planning (LRP, AOP, Working Capital, Monthly Financial Performance Reporting Variance Analysis, Data Review and Reporting and NBI).
  • Program controls such as developing estimates at complete (EACs) and execution of EVM.
  • Support the development of the manpower, material and other direct costs associated for Bids & Proposals using estimating and pricing tools ensuring TINA compliance where applicable.
  • Provide estimating support for the development of Basis of Estimates to include validating and analysing actuals, ensuring consistency within task descriptions, and confirming estimating approach is sound.
  • Supporting gate reviews and audits as required.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Part/Qualified accountant (CIMA preferred)
  • Resilience and able to adapt to changes in a fast-paced growing organisation
  • Commercially astute
  • Proactive, analytical and inquisitive
  • Attention to detail and process adherence
  • Highly organised and self-motivated

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Strong customer focus, attention to detail and quality work.
  • Relevant commercial/business experience in a similar defence or complex contracting environment.
  • Ability to drive change and influence beyond authority level.
  • Experience in organising, preparing, and presenting briefings to management and peers.
  • Experience interpreting, analysing and questioning financial data.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) when interfacing with all levels of the company.
  • Experience of working with SAP, Power BI, MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
