This role will be based on the university campus with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

Are you a high‑calibre technical accountant ready to make an immediate impact?

We are looking for an experienced, qualified or qualified by experience accountant to play a pivotal role in safeguarding the integrity of the University’s financial reporting during a critical period of delivery and change.

This is a hands-on opportunity to take ownership of key financial accounting responsibilities, including leading the year-end process, while ensuring robust, accurate and compliant financial statements across the University and its related organisations.

Working closely with the Senior Financial Reporting Manager and wider Financial Reporting team, you will help maintain business-as-usual excellence. At the same time, your contribution will be instrumental in freeing up senior capacity to focus on major transformation activity.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
