Join us as a Reporting Manager at Thirteen Group!

Role Overview

Due to an internal promotion, Thirteen Group is on the lookout for a Financial Reporting Manager as a key member of our Finance Reporting and Transactions team.

This leads our dedicated management accounts team, delivering timely and accurate management accounts and insightful reporting to meet business requirements. As this is a new role, you’ll have the opportunity to develop the service, driving efficiencies in processes and improvements in reporting.

This is a hybrid role, so you’ll work from our fantastic head office at Hudson Quay, Middlesbrough at least one day per week with the rest of your week working from home. You’ll also be expected to attend in-person meetings as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the Group Finance Manager to deliver statutory accounts for all Group companies and supporting the audit process, whilst ensuring data integrity and compliance.
  • Overseeing the delivery of management accounts reports to support effective organisational decision-making and financial planning.
  • Collaborating with the finance business partnering team to enhance reporting.
  • Establishing and reviewing financial controls.
  • Co-ordinating and overseeing the reconciliation of financial regulatory returns.

About You

  • A fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Experienced in the delivery of management accounting services.
  • Excellent IT skills and a broad knowledge of accounting systems, reporting solutions and Microsoft applications.
  • A great people manager, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • You’ll be willing to embrace technology to develop innovative solutions to drive efficiency and service improvement.
  • An excellent communicator and someone who is collaborative and resilient in your approach.
