Financial Reporting Manager - Knutsford (Competitive + Bonus + Car Allowance)
About the Role
Our client is a large international business seeking to appoint a Group Reporting Manager.
You’ll play a pivotal role managing 4 team members, driving efficiency improvements, and enhancing the viability of financial and non-financial reporting across the Group—while maintaining technical accounting excellence.
A 3-day-per-week role.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the monthly, half-yearly, and full-year financial reporting, ensuring all controls are executed effectively
- Manage the Group’s consolidation process and reporting outputs, including spoken commentary
- Identify weaknesses in financial/management reporting processes and collaborate with peers to drive continuous improvement
- Prepare and review interim and statutory Group accounts
- Lead initiatives to amplify technical accounting standards
- Work closely with external auditors to streamline and optimise audit engagement

Requirements
✔ Fully qualified accountant, with proven experience in managing high-performing teams ✔ Excellent communication skills ✔ Thorough understanding of control requirements
