Financial Reporting Manager

We're looking for an experienced Financial Reporting Manager to lead ClearBank's external financial reporting, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, accurate and compliant financial reporting across the Group.

This is a key role within Finance, responsible for leading the production of the Group Annual Report & Accounts, consolidated financial statements, and statutory accounts for our regulated entities in the UK and Europe. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business, manage the external audit process, and provide technical accounting expertise to support business and regulatory requirements.

This role would suit someone with strong financial reporting experience who is confident operating in a regulated financial services environment and can take ownership of complex reporting processes from end to end.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and delivery of the Group Annual Report & Accounts, including consolidated financial statements.
  • Oversee the production of statutory accounts for regulated entities across the UK and Europe.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, corporate reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the external audit process, acting as the key point of contact for auditors and internal stakeholders.
  • Own the annual reporting timetable, ensuring deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
  • Prepare Board and Audit Committee papers, including going concern assessments and reporting updates.
  • Assess the impact of new accounting standards and emerging reporting requirements.
  • Build strong relationships across Finance and the wider business to coordinate reporting inputs and deliver high-quality outputs.
  • Support interim audit and other reporting or assurance activities throughout the year.

About You

You'll bring:

  • Significant experience in financial reporting within banking or financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Experience preparing consolidated financial statements and annual reports.
  • Experience managing external audits and working with auditors.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple deadlines and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent).

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
