Job Title: Finance Sales Executive

Salary: £28,000 per annum plus uncapped commission (OTE - £40,000)

Location: Wilmslow, On-site

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (9am to 6pm)

About BCA Driver Sales

BCA Driver Sales is an upstream remarketing channel which provides leasing and captive finance companies with the opportunity to sell their vehicles prior to de-fleet day. Driver Sales is an end-to-end remarketing solution which allows our customers to benefit from a pro-active programme to sell vehicles to drivers, employees, and their friends and family.

The BCA Driver Sales team manage our customer’s branded sales programmes which typically start 12 weeks before de-fleet and finish before collection is arranged, ensuring this premium route to market does not interfere with existing remarketing channels. BCA Driver Sales streamline the remarketing process, delivering additional value to our customers and a great opportunity for drivers to buy their contract hire vehicle at a competitive price.

Main Purpose of The Role:

Reporting to the Driver Sales Manager, the position is based at BCA Remarketing Solutions in Wilmslow. We are currently looking for a Sales Executive experienced in car finance, focused on assisting and referring customers to our finance lenders for funding options to assist with their car buying experience. The Finance Sales Executive will be responding to inbound requests the company receives for information and quotations from individuals, as well as following up and proactively assisting customers with finance quotes and proposals.

The individual will have an understanding of the automotive industry and be knowledgeable of the FCA Code of Conduct associated with credit broking and finance introductions. Ideally, they will have completed SAF training and the SAF Expert test and possess up-to-date knowledge of Consumer Duty requirements. Seeing this as an exciting new challenge, the individual will use their drive, enthusiasm and commercial mindset to achieve exceptional results in both sales performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guiding customers through their car-buying journey via telephone, email and web enquiries.
  • Meeting and exceeding sales targets on a weekly and monthly basis. This will include self-management of daily KPIs.
  • Respond to requests for proposals from new and existing clients.
  • Identify and understand customers’ needs ensuring the best outcome is always reached.
  • Ensuring all calls are compliant and adhere to FCA regulations, keeping the customer fully informed throughout the process.
  • Pro-active in contact with customers, suppliers, and lenders.
  • Respond to prospective new clients’ questions and requests using telephone and email.
  • Understand competitors, their offerings and pricing, to be able to monitor and recommend changes to pricing and/or offerings.
  • Work closely with the sales team on lead generation and to ensure a consistent and exceptional customer experience.
  • Any other duties, as requested, to meet the changing needs of the business.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years sales experience.
  • The ability and desire to sell to customers through a customer centric approach.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile for our customers.
  • Excellent numerical skills and accuracy.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of FCA guidelines and Treating Customers Fairly.
  • Preferably SAF trained and approved.
  • At all times to carry out responsibilities with due regard to the company’s policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring at all times that communications and processes are FCA compliant. Ongoing training is provided along with access to e-learning training platforms.
