Financial Services Administrator
Location: Guildford Salary: Up to £38,000 (depending on experience)
James & Partners is working with a growing international wealth management group looking to appoint an experienced Financial Services Administrator to join its UK office in Guildford.

- Client administration, new business processing, and ongoing servicing
- Maintenance of client files, records, and internal documentation
- Provider & platform liaison, including advisers and clients
- Annual reviews, valuations, and policy information collection
- Ensuring smooth progression of outstanding cases
- Client onboarding and documentation management
- Strengthening internal processes and compliance standards
- Providing broader operational support as needed
While not a full paraplanning role, experience or interest in paraplanning, report preparation, or technical financial planning is highly desirable.
Required Experience & Qualifications
Applicants should ideally have:
- Previous experience in financial services administration
- Background in wealth management, financial planning, or an IFA (Independent Financial Advisor) environment
- Strong understanding of pensions, investments, and general financial administration
- Familiarity with platforms and external providers
- Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Confident communication (written & verbal)

- Exposure to paraplanning or report preparation
- Experience structuring or maintaining client files or review packs
