Key Responsibilities: As a Manager, you’ll:
- Manage client relationships while leading project delivery
- Provide timely financial insights, including:
- UK GAAP and IFRS account reviews
- Guidance on performance, forecasting, and regulatory compliance
- Combine technical expertise (e.g., Xero proficiency) with commercial acumen to streamline processes and add measurable value
- Balance project oversight against budgets and deadlines
- Upskill junior team members and collaborate with internal specialists
- Maintain ** BDOs risk and quality standards** across all deliverables

Requirements
Qualifications & Technical Skills
To excel in this ** Manager-level position**, you’ll need:
- A recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
- Deep working knowledge of FRS 102
- Strong expertise in business controls, with hands-on experience in:
- Month-end and year-end processes
- Proven capabilities in:
- Outsourcing services
- Monthly bookkeeping
- Ability to research and apply technical accounting guidance with precision
- Understanding of enterprise risk management within the accounting profession
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel⁺, PowerPoint
