Hi! We're UW. We’re on a mission to take the headache out of utilities by providing them all in one place. One bill for energy, broadband, mobile, and insurance and a whole lot of savings!

We’re aiming to double in size as we help more people to stop wasting time and money. Big ambitions, to be delivered by people like you.

Got your attention? Read on…

We put people first. It’s all about you.

We’re looking for a Financial Services Compliance Manager to join us as we continue to grow and develop our suite of products in insurance, payments, and consumer credit.

To thrive in this role, you’ll be a natural relationship builder who acts as a trusted partner to our first line of defence, keeping a clear head and offering perspective when tricky compliance incidents crop up. You excel at communication clarity—translating complex regulatory jargon, FCA expectations, and financial crime rules into straightforward, actionable advice for stakeholders at all levels. Digging into the nitty-gritty of scripts, financial promotions, or process design is second nature to you, thanks to your sharp eye for detail. You also bring agility and pragmatism to the table, solving problems with a creative, proportionate mind to find the most appropriate business solutions for our Insurance, Consumer Credit, and Cashback Card products rather than just applying standard methods.

Key Experience Required

  • Second-line defence experience: You have solid experience in a second line of defence compliance role in financial services.
  • Insurance product expertise: Essential experience working with general insurance products. Exposure to other consumer financial services products (like Consumer Credit or our Cashback Card) is highly desirable.
  • Regulatory & financial crime knowledge: Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance is essential. If you bring financial crime knowledge and experience, that is a massive plus!
  • Risk & change management: A proven track record of spotting compliance-related risks and opportunities, and finding proportionate responses in a changing environment.

We work together. Your team and the people you will work with…

This role reports to the Senior Financial Services Compliance Manager and will be joining a wider team of Legal & Compliance professionals. You'll interact with Senior leaders and colleagues across this business to deliver an effective second line of defence advisory service for our FS products.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
