The firm is looking to recruit a Finance Administrator to assist and support the Financial Services SBU Finance Manager. Helping to manage the financial performance of the SBU on a day-to-day basis as well as providing relevant support to the overall team within the business unit on financial matters.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the Finance Manager and SBU to Champion Workday, ensuring the system is being used consistently and efficiently across the financial services department.
  • Provide support with Working Capital management for the group – ensuring that bills, provisions, recoveries and cash collections are managed effectively and efficiently.
  • Support with financial analysis and reporting to the FS heads to enable informed planning and decision making. Including utilisation, recovery rates, budget, rolling forecast, key performance indicators and analysis of variances.
  • Supporting the quarterly forecasting process for the overall stream, assisting with the coordination with local Sub-Sectors/Disciplines liaising with relevant personnel and the central Finance team as appropriate and supporting the input of the data into the Firm’s budget model.
  • Regular liaison with the central Finance function, supporting the month end and year end processes.
  • Supporting Finance Manager, Financial services department and SBU heads to ensure there remains a continued consistency of approach around the partner group and making suggestions for how processes and procedures can be improved.
  • Other ad-hoc matters as required in support of the Finance Manager, FS strategy and FS Operations team.
  • A proactive approach in supporting our focus on continued improvements to financial management and reporting.

Role Requirements

  • Commercially minded
  • Analytical
  • Strong Microsoft skills, particularly in Excel and experience of Power BI preferred
  • Strong communication, people and presentation skills
  • Partnership experience desirable
  • Part-Qualified or looking to train in accountancy or relevant financial experience
