FSO Financial Crime & Forensics – Investigations and Compliance

Manager

The opportunity

Financial Crime & Forensics is part of EY’s Financial Services practice: we work closely with financial services clients and regulators to help prevent, investigate and remediate financial crime along with other regulatory risks and issues.

Our dedicated Investigations & Compliance team supports our clients in the aftermath of fraud or financial crime events, to proactively prepare for future events and with regulatory issues. Join us and you will work on challenging projects in a rapidly growing team, accelerating your career within an international and supportive environment. You'll also be introduced to career challenges that will take you into exciting new professional territory.

The role

As a Financial Crime & Forensics Manager, you will supervise junior colleagues, briefing them and reviewing their work, whilst executing your own work to a standard requiring minimal review across a portfolio of clients and internal projects. You will be expected to take personal responsibility for leading engagements and ensuring that deadlines are met to our clients’ satisfaction.

Your role will also include proactively establishing, maintaining and strengthening internal and external relationships. Your knowledge and experience will help to create commercial insights for our clients.

Within the Financial Crime & Forensics team you will work on the execution of a variety of projects including investigations, financial crime framework reviews, risk assessments, claims and disputes, fraud and financial crime prevention, and compliance programme development within the financial services sector.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
