Job Title: TechnologyOne Financials System Subject Matter Expert (SME)
Duration: 6 months with possibility of extension
Purpose
We are seeking a TechnologyOne Financials System Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide specialist expertise in the implementation, configuration, testing, and optimisation of the TechnologyOne Financial Management System. The role will support project delivery by providing expert knowledge, system guidance, and recommendations to ensure successful implementation and adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance on TechnologyOne Financials functionality and best practice.
- Support configuration and setup of Financials modules according to agreed requirements.
- Provide specialist support during User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including defect investigation and resolution recommendations.
- Advise on process improvements and adoption of TechnologyOne standard functionality where appropriate.
- Support cutover planning and readiness activities for system go-live.
- Deliver knowledge transfer to internal teams to support ongoing system administration and support.

Required Skills & Experience
- Extensive experience implementing and supporting TechnologyOne Financials solutions.
- Strong understanding of local government finance processes and controls.
- Hands-on experience with TechnologyOne Financials modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, and Budget Management.
- Ability to analyse business requirements and recommend effective system-based solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
