Overview
Oxford Policy Management is delighted to announce that we are looking to hire a Financial Systems, Process & Data Specialist, who will be responsible for overseeing and managing financial data and systems and supporting processes using Dynamics 365 with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations and Project Management Accounting.
This role represents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the continual improvement of financial systems & processes, bringing a better quality of data to the wider finance community and business stakeholders. It involves collaborating extensively with IT and Finance teams, as well as liaison with other stakeholders including HR & Project teams to ensure effective business and system processes are aligned with system configurations in D365 for accounting and financial reporting and integrations with other parts of the OPM systems. As a Financial Systems, Process & Data Specialist, you can also expect to be involved with the design and testing of new processes, business partnering with local finance teams to provide support & training and documenting business processes / requirements.
This is a highly visible role which will require the successful candidate to deliver excellent internal customer service to a range of stakeholders. If you have strong experience in improving financial data & system processes within an ERP platform ideally Dynamics 365 and experience as well as being a qualified accountant, this is a great opportunity to take on an integral finance systems role leveraging the latest technology.

Position Summary
Systems and Process Optimisation
- Continuously assess and improve financial processes both inside D365 and outside of systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Lead on improving data quality within systems through optimising business and system processes.
- Reviewing upcoming new system functionalities with recommendations for proposed usage.
- Act as finance business lead for all system enhancements and development activity; Working with technical resources in IT to support the delivery of configuration changes and review new system features.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of business & system processes, system configurations, and integrations.
- Ensure data integrity; Implement and enforce data integrity controls to maintain accurate financial records and perform regular audits to identify and address data discrepancies.
- Lead on documenting business requirements for system teams from users in Finance and Project communities.
- Participate in and business manage finance systems related projects.

Training And Support
- Provide training to finance and other relevant teams on D365 functionalities.
- Documentation of process and refresher of training material to ensure users can resolve queries through self-service.
- Provide day-to-day operational support for finance and business systems users.
Reporting
- Design and generate financial reports using D365 reporting tools and PowerBI.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data for internal and external reporting.
Ways Of Working
- Act as the bridge & key relationship owner between Finance and IT.
- Build relationships with IT & Finance colleagues globally with a particular focus on UK, Pakistan & India.
- Collaborate both internally & externally to understand requirements and implement solutions.
System Administration & Support
- Manage business-owned finance system configurations & workflows within D365 F&O and PMA.
- Collaborate & engage with IT on wider organisational systems configurations such as, user access and security settings.
- Monitor and troubleshoot system issues, collaborating with IT support as needed. Including ensuring interfaces links between systems work effectively and understanding/resolving issues.
- Oversight of system driven month end processes to ensure they are effective and efficient.
Required
Key Qualifications / Experience / Skills / Behaviours
- Experience of ERP systems administration, configuration and optimisation across the full finance system lifecycle.
- Experience with Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, and MS Power BI.
- Qualified accountant (CIMA or ACCA) or qualified by experience.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Well-organised and efficient individual with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Self-confidence and ability to influence others and able to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and individually with minimal supervision.
- Enthusiasm, persistence, presence and self-motivation.
