The Role
Sofidel is shaping the future of paper manufacturing with a focus on sustainability. We are seeking a dedicated Finished Goods Warehouse Operative to join our Rothley site (near Leicester) in our global network.

Main Responsibilities
You’ll support warehouse operations by:
- Moving pallets and stocking them securely in designated storage bays
- Managing extraordinary warehouse operations per system requirements and instructions
- Preparing loading areas in compliance with schedules (documentation and signatures required)
- Identifying and reporting product damage/quality deficiencies
- Loading and unloading trucks as needed
- Ensuring accurate completion of all necessary documentation
- Operating forklift trucks and material handling equipment
- Conducting daily equipment checks and fault reporting for maintenance
- Maintaining equipment function in line with procedure directives
- Conducting periodic stocktaking activities
- Optimising warehouse space for efficiency
- Collaborating with Day Services and Shift teams for seamless workflow
- Assisting colleagues or performing any additional reasonable requests approved in advance
Additionally, you will:
- Uphold a high standard of housekeeping throughout shifts
- Adhere strictly to health & safety regulations

Role Details
Working Hours
- Monday–Friday: 14:00–22:00 (37.5 hours per week)

- £13.00/hour (starting rate)
