About The Role

We are looking for a FinTech Regulatory Affairs Lead to support our commercial and regulatory objectives across the business. The role sits at the intersection of Compliance and Legal/Regulatory and enjoys high autonomy and low bureaucracy, offering direct, daily exposure to the Senior Management Team.

We are looking for someone with prior financial services regulatory exposure and familiarity with payments and crypto assets.

This position is based in London, UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regulatory liaison: Acting as the main point of contact for routine communications with regulators (e.g., FCA), drafting regulatory information responses, requests and reports
  • Regulatory rules: As regulators indicate guidance or rules, inform the business, advise on the applicability and assist converting these into business actionable items
  • Licenses: Playing a key role in new licence applications and variations of permission
  • Cross-functional enablement: Partnering with Product, Sales, Operations, and other teams to embed regulatory compliance requirements smoothly into new projects, products, and operational processes
  • Audits: Coordinating the interaction with external auditors during regulatory audits
  • Internal advisory: Support fostering a strong regulatory culture by educating and advising internal stakeholders on industry standards and regulatory expectations

  • Prior financial services regulatory exposure and familiarity with payments and crypto assets
  • Experience in dealing with regulators and playing a significant role in regulatory applications
  • Ability to multitask
  • A proactive, reliable and collaborative approach to work
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, regulated environment
  • Willingness to learn, take ownership and grow
